Modern family home with two independent floors in Pinar de Campoverde, Alicante region.

Built in 2001, this spacious and bright property has been consistently updated with the latest technology. The house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac and offers views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Mar Menor.

Each floor has its own entrance. The saltwater pool is surrounded by a typical Spanish patio, which includes an outbuilding with a full bathroom and a large outdoor kitchen. The property (approx. 500 m2) includes another plot (buildable) (approx. 850 m2), which we use as a garden. You can grow your own food in the garden. A small greenhouse is available. Currently, the 13 olive trees provide enough olive oil for our annual consumption. An automatic irrigation system and LED lighting can be controlled via the Internet.

We transformed the property into a self-sufficient home. For us, it was important to be as independent as possible from traditional energy sources. Thus, the house is primarily heated with the solar system and can alternatively be heated with the water fireplace (firewood), air conditioners (electricity), or a gas boiler.
